Welcome! This is the page for Fort Collins Amtgard! Thank you for playing and we hope to see you back.

We meet at City Park in Fort Collins just East of Sheldon Lake (more of a pond but whatever).

We meet at 1:00 pm on Sundays and go to the Dungeon Master's Lair around 5:00

Sometimes, during the winter, we go to the Field House at CSU just north of the track.

What we do in a nutshell (Do not read the V7 rules! We are playing V8 linked just below the "what we do" link:
http://amtgard.com/what-we-do/

We are currently using the V8 rulebook which can be found here all the way at the bottom:

Weapons:
Are you poor like me:
Come to one of our sword building evenings after amtgard. They happen often.

Also you might get a basic understanding of sword building here:
http://kingdomofthedesertwindscookbook.wordpress.com/2013/01/03/how-to-build-a-stick-tato-style-potato/

http://www.calistonarmory.com/index.php/tutorials/
(Do not use funnoodle for swords! It is terrible)

Do you have money?
You can buy swords and equipment here:
http://www.foamforge.net/
http://www.warlordsports.com/
http://www.forgedfoam.com/ (more for Dagorhir)

Garb:
I would suggest asking someone who has cool garb how they made it. Get with the artisans. We will also have garb making nights every once and a while at the DM Lair. Also, look out for sapling tournaments.

Barring that here are some tutorials for garb:
Laugh at how old school this one is:

Maybe ok for your very first ever garb but should be replaced soon:
